I've got an American airborne outfit with some gear; it wasn't really intended for airsoft use though. I'd probably have to play like a panzy if I wore all that expensive stuff. No WWII airsoft guns here though, unless you happen to know of any cheap M1 Garands :P!

I've been thinking about doing a WWII Marine Corps setup. The most driving thing behind that is me wanting to get ahold of USMC gear before "The Pacific" comes out and raises demand like Band of Brothers did with airborne gear.

Is it atthefront.com? They've got some good stuff. I've already got their repro P42 camo shirt and I'm probably just going to use some OD green BDU pants to go with it. I also bought a P42 helmet cover that I might use as well.

I have a full M40 SS uniform with 3rd division markings. Very close to a museum quality kit, although unless I was in the presence of a stitch counter, no one can tell. :P

Only thing I am missing is a full zeltbahn setup, mess kit, and canteen.

I'm all in for WWII airsoft!

By the way, besides a few things like M40 helmet, jackboots, and other smaller pieces. All of my gear has come from www.hessenantique.com

I have always wanted a Tommy....and now there is an affordable BAR out on Evike. I'd definately be interested in shooting at some germans!

The CYMA Thompson is a pretty good replica. You can get the refurbished ones from Kapowwe for pretty cheap right now. I have one and it is a fun replica.

I've looked around and I figure that I've mostly gotten all the pieces together for a World War II US Infantry setup.

The only thing I really need is an M41 field jacket, some proper boots, a helmet, and some of the suspenders.

Cool it seem everybody getting their of their stuff together, I just wish that there will be more people who will participate. It will be fun one of these day to pull off a WWII airsoft game in H-town, uniform does not have to be 100% correct of course. If you look like a WWII soldier from 100ft away that would be cool, the more correct the better ofcourse.

Hey wonko, if you need shoulder boards let me know, I can replicate them now, I'll post photo of my latest kit up soon. Please feel free to post your impression here.

I will also work on a shopping list to help if you are looking to do the impression for cheap, not accurate of course. I learn that you cant have both :) Any request, either US or German.
